How to play Ganja Ring

The Essentials

Note:
Ganja Ring can be played with 2 players, but for the best experience of “fun chaos” and interaction intended by the game’s design, a group of at least three is recommended.

If playing with two, you may want to remove or adjust certain group-based cards before starting.

To begin your journey, gather 3+ players and the following:

Supplies:
Lots of the good stuff, a pen/marker, paper, a phone, and rolling papers

Session Setup:
Choose your weapon for the session


Setting the Stage

The Ring:
Shuffle the deck and place all cards face down in a circle on the table or floor

The Start:
Choose one player to begin, then take turns drawing cards from the ring

The Action:
Immediately follow the specific rules or challenges printed on each card


Gameplay & Card Types

Ganja Ring is designed for a fast start, allowing players to be in the action within two minutes.

The game features mechanics that trigger actions, reactions, and group effects:

Direct Hits:
Triple Hit (3 hits), Quadruple Hit (4 hits), and Unlucky 13 (13 hits) require the drawing player to consume immediately

Skill Challenges:
One-Foot Balance, Hold your Hit for 10 seconds, or the Rolling Challenge — roll a joint in 90 seconds or face a 10-hit penalty

Interactive Games:
Cannabis Pictionary, Math Challenges, Bust a Rhyme, or Cannabis Charades

Social & Group Dynamics:
Positive Pass, 420 Break, or Musical Freeze
Some cards, like 5 Hit Choice, allow you to pick a player to take hits

Digital Integration:
Use ChatGPT to generate cannabis riddles or jokes for the group


Winning the Game

The game ends when all 7 Lord Shiva cards have been drawn.

The Victor:
The player with the most Lord Shiva cards receives the Winning Blessing and highest honor
